We are currently seeking an experienced System/Network Administrator.

The System/Network Administrator is responsible for maintaining the LAN, WAN, and phone infrastructure for the company including network configuration, set up, planning, designing, implementing and troubleshooting.  Other responsibilities include supporting the server, storage, and desktop infrastructure as part of the IT services team.  Must work well both independently and in a team environment.

Duties:

 

Install, configure, and support organization's LAN/WAN. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Coordinate special projects including network wiring plans, networking hardware/software purchases and installation. Monitor network usage to ensure network performance, security of data and access.  Administer day to day operation of networks and servers.  Research, analyze, troubleshoot and resolve telecommunications related problems.  Manage Microsoft Windows Servers 2003/2008, SAN's , Virtual/Physical server environments, backups and maintenance.

Qualifications:

 

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Technology related fields are preferred.  Cisco/Dell Managed Switches, Microsoft Servers 2003/2008, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCPIP, Group Policy, RDP, Palo Alto Firewalls, SAN (Dell Equalogic), VMWare, Dell Appassure Backup Solutions, Dell Kace Client Management,  MS Office, Google Apps email/collaboration solution. HP and Dell servers and Cisco IP phone systems skills are preferred.  A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and/or training required.
